Valve stem seals create a lubrication point for the valve as it moves up and down. As they wear more oil can be released past the seal. Worn valve stem seals can be indicated by an increase in engine oil consumption and increased emissions.

This Lohen Valve Stem Seal Replacement kit of parts supplied includes a replacement head gasket because the head is removed in order to access the valve stem seal. The service is suitable for MINI One, Cooper, Cooper S and JCW models produced between 2000-2006 and convertible models upto 2007.
