Sump Gasket Replacement Service
The sump on the MINI can be prone to leaking, particularly on the MINI generation 1 R53 Cooper S and JCW this is a common problem. When the sump leaks a replacement gasket is required. To replace the gasket the sump must be removed and oil drained from the engine. This is a good opportunity to replace the engine oil filter.
Once sump has been removed and engine oil drained Lohen will clean the sump and install an Ajusa sump gasket to create a reliable long term seal. A Mahle engine oil filter will be installed then filled with a high quality fully synthetic Millers engine oil, either a Longline XF 5W30 grade suitable for everyday and fast road use or a high performance Millers 10W40 Nanotechnology engine oil suitable for cars running at high temperatures for long periods and/or above 250 BHP.
The service is completed by one of Lohen’s qualified technicians experienced in working with the MINI day in day out.
