The Powerflex Upper Engine Mount Insert (Fast Road) provides an excellent balance of strength and compliance for improved performance.

The original rubber engine mount softens and perishes with age, losing its ability to dampen effectively and promoting unwanted engine movement. By fitting Powerflex's new insert, it acts as a buffer by restricting movement within the bush thus improving throttle response, sharpening gear changes, and reducing wheel hop for improved traction.

The only downside to this is a slight increase in NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness), usually at idle. This should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine/transmission and chassis. This part is recommended for Petrol models and high-torque tuned Diesel models.
