Forge Motorsport Bypass Valve For Gen 2 MINI Cooper S/JCW/GP N14/N18


The Generation 2 turbocharged MINI features an electronically controlled bypass valve that has been known to cause faults. Forge’s alternative is fully engineered offering both improved reliability as well as being as responsive as the OEM item. It replaces the original unit with a vacuum operated piston valve, which retains the OEM ECU control over actuation. On re-application of the throttle, the Forge valve is marginally quicker than the OEM meaning boost can be built up sooner.

By using a piston valve you remove the chance of diaphragm failure that has been known to occur on the OEM item. Further benefits are that it is a tunable item, the internal spring can be changed to match how much boost your MINI is running.

This product has been thoroughly tested resulting in no fault codes; check lights or adverse effects of any kind.

Lohen offers two versions of this valve for your MINI. You can choose the Recirculating Bypass Valve which remains quiet, or the Atmospheric Turbo Blow-Off Valve which produces that typical turbo 'whoop-tiss' noise. Please select your preferred option from the drop-down menu

Suitable for turbocharged MINI R56, R57, R58, R59, R60 & R61 petrol models only. Will not fit with an AEM Intake Kit.

Different version apply for the 2 engine codes: nN14 and N18. N14 engines are found in MINI Cooper S models 2007-2009 and JCW models 2007 - 2012.
N18 is in Gen 2 MINI Cooper S models 2010 onwards and Gen 2 JCW models 2013 onwards. All Countryman and Paceman Cooper S and JCW models are N18.
